The impact of using the CAMELS rating system on the sustainability for Iraqi banks

Résumé

This current study has attempted to show the Banking performance assessment by using CAMELS assessment system on the Banking sustainability. This system is considered the most modern systems, which is used in banking performance assessment used by the Inspection monitoring entities directly on the Banks for their financial position assessment. Also, this system is considered one of the imported systems in united banking performance assessment regarding its sixth elements to achieve the Financial safety for Banks. The main goal of the Banking Performance assessment is to assure of integral and healthy system existence able to fill the needs of social and economic development pursuant to the laws and regulations that control the Banking work. The development in any country is related to the financial sector development.
