The influence of Health Service Quality on Customer Satisfaction: the case of Baqubah General Teaching Hospital in Diyala Governorate, Iraq

Résumé

Contemporary perspectives suggest the necessity and significance of providing medical services, recognizing it as a strategy that fosters competition and ensures the sustainability of hospitals. The enhancement of competition, persistence, and longevity contributes to the elevated standards of service quality.

Hence, this research endeavors to assess the various aspects of delivering medical services, as well as the qualitative dimensions and relationships within the healthcare sector of Baquba Diyala hospital in Iraq. The findings reveal a notable statistical correlation and impact between the rate of medical service provision and the quality of healthcare services offered by Baquba Diyala hospital.

To test the hypothesis, a questionnaire was formulated and distributed among 76 patients and several staff members providing services to patients. Subsequently, gathered feedback pertaining to the standard of medical care provided, as well as the quality of the medical services themselves, was assessed. Comparative analyses, relationship testing, and evaluations of the impact between variables within the study were conducted utilizing various forms of tabular representation.
