Organization Transformational Model of IS Success

The human civilization is witnessing a transition from industrial age to information age. The information revolution, brought about by widespread deployment and use of modern information and communication technologies (ICT) is bringing about rapid change in almost all aspects of society in general and organizations in particular. Organizations are being transformed from the existing hierarchical decision structure, with well defined boundaries, to more collaborative and transparent decision making structure and more flexibly organized in dispersed configurations. Management of organizational transformation is, therefore, being considered as the most challenging task in e-management field.
This paper proposes a e-management effectiveness model emphasizing change management framework. The model is validated through multiple case studies research method. The study reveals that organization transformation is about creating fundamental change within an organization and is context specific, hence any such initiative depend a lot upon the specific processes, people, culture and environment of the organization.
