The research aims to measure the impact of employee empowerment on manufacturing flexibility in the General Company for Leather Industries, and to identify the extent of the company’s commitment to implementing the empowerment process for its employees and using the results of this process in manufacturing flexibility.
The research data was collected using a questionnaire that was distributed to the employees in different departments of the company, which was the research sample, and the number of them was (80) random sample. The results were analyzed using statistical methods, and the research hypotheses were tested. The results showed a relationship and a significant effect of employee empowerment in manufacturing flexibility.
A set of recommendations was also formulated, which it is hoped that those concerned in the company will benefit from, including that the company adopt a special philosophy in the field of strengthening mechanisms to empower employees and improve manufacturing flexibility, which is consistent with the effects that achieve radical changes in the field of excellence and distinction for the company in the Iraqi market, by striving to implement its programs that in turn lead to improving the work environment.
