
The present study aimed to explore the impact of transformational leadership on technology crisis management in Zain Telecom Company in Jordan. The study’s population consists from all the administrative employees who work at Zain Telecom Company. A questionnaire was developed and distributed to the members of the sample who were selected through using the simple random sampling method. The sample consists from (152) administrative employees. (124) forms were retrieved and considered valid for analysis. The response rate is (81.6%).
Several results were concluded. It was found that transformational leadership dimensions jointly and separately have a statistically significant impact – at the statistical significance level of a≤0.05 – on technology crisis management dimensions in Zain Telecom Company in Jordan. The transformational leadership dimensions include: (idealized influence, intellectual stimulation, individual consideration and motivation). The technology crisis management dimensions include: (discovering the alarm signs, getting ready and precaution, damage management and reduction, recovery and learning).
Several recommendations were proposed. For instance, the researcher recommends fostering the implementation of transformational leadership in the aforementioned company. This can be done through holding training courses for the administrative employees who work in Zain Telecom Company. The researcher recommends providing attention to the process of developing plans for technology crisis management in Zain Telecom Company in Jordan
