The role of banking financial intermediation in development Financial performance for a sample of banks Iraqi Commercial Listed on the Iraq Stock Exchange

Résumé

This study show the role of banking financial intermediation is clear in the activity of the capital market and its development through financial intermediation that has efficiency and the ability to compete and innovate. Therefore, the presence of diverse intermediation institutions within a competitive framework helps improve the level of financial services and reduce intermediation costs, which leaves a positive impact on market activity and financial performance which requires the presence and stimulation of such institutions, and the establishment of banking and financial intermediation institutions is considered one of the most important conditions for developing their work by establishing a set of rules for professional behavior, organizing relationships, and exchanging experiences among them.
